Morris Mbetsa Mwero is a self-taught Electronic and Technology engineer who started as an adolescent. He is the CEO and Founder of Mbetsa Innovation Ltd, a society that assists young innovators to turn ideas into products and services. Within the last 2 years, Mbetsa has worked with a team to create Africa’s first drone tax can carry one passenger. Mbetsa’ invented an electronically powered aerial drone with the capability of flying 25 minutes at a speed of over 120 kilometers per hour with an elevation between 10 and 30 feet. He will apply technology that her created from a car security system that was used in a mobile application to track cars in 2009 to modify the tracking system for his aerial flying machine.
Currently, the drone tax can be operated manually or controlled by using a remote. Mbesa’s team-initiated work on an air traffic control system to maintain cross communication between flying vehicles.
